Thank you for contacting onsitedumpsters about your dumpster rental needs. We want to provide you with the highest standard of service in the industry. It's important you understand how we do business.
Payment
All our dumpster rentals are fully paid with a credit card before the dumpster is delivered. Once the credit card number has been approved for the full amount, we will issue you an email with a confirmation of your dumpster size and tonnage, date and time of delivery, address and location on the property of the delivery, price paid and reminders about the process. We keep your credit card number on file in case we need to charge you for overages or, more likely, to rebate your card if your dumpster is light.
Overages
When a dumpster weighs over the amount allotted for the dumpster's size, the difference (overage) is always the responsibility of the customer. Upon weigh-in, the driver will contact our office and your card will be charged for the difference based on $95 per ton prorated.
It is important to note that weight at the hauling station is not based on how full the dumpster appears.
Prohibited Materials
There is a wide range of materials that can never be put in our dumpsters. Below is a list of those items that can't be dumped. It is the responsibility of the customer to insure that none of these items is in the dumpster on pickup.
- Propane Tanks
- Explosives
- Petroleum Products
- Batteries
- Thermostats
- Mercury-based products
- Pesticides
- Asbestos
Appliance Hauling Fees
Certain items like refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, ovens, washers and dryers can be placed in the dumpster, but they will be assessed an additional fee at the hauling station. This is a prorated fee based on $50.00 per item. Be sure to list these items on your project planning form so we can accurately quote a price for hauling these items.
Dumpster Delivery
The customer is responsible for having large sheets of plywood on hand to place under the wheels of the dumpster as it rests in your driveway or on your lawn. Doing this minimizes damage that can occur when the dumpster sits for days with tons of material in it. In addition, onsitedumpster.com, its drivers, or it's staff can not be found responsible for damages caused to lawns, underground installations, lights, walkways, landscaping or gardens if the customer chooses to place the dumpster anywhere on the property, but on the driveway.
